While much of what you'll find here is free to use and distribute, athletes are invited to collaborate in this work with a small monthly pledge.

Team dues are $2/month which goes to helping create a wide variety of resources to be used for building habits of holiness and lasting fitness. All levels, paces, and years of experiences are welcome! Sign up here!

Of course, the membership fee is optional and, while patrons are given a wider variety of resources, everyone will still have access to all of our free and ready to use resources to help develop excellence in running and a life of holiness.

Frassati Running Club asks its members to commit to union in prayer and to striving for the "highest goals."

1. Pray the Prayer for the Courage to be Great

Blessed Pier Giorgio saw the great power in uniting his friends in prayer. There is a power in sharing a long run with someone that forms a natural bond - the same is true in praying for one another. We may not always be able to share the same room, but whether we are near or far, when we hold each other in prayer, remember one another on runs big and small, we build a community far greater than the accomplishments of any single runner. FRC asks its team members to pray this regularly, and hold your team members in prayer.
You can learn more about Pier Giorgio's desire to encourage unity in prayer here.

2. Offer one run a week for the intentions of your team members.

Every Wednesday, the Frassati Running team completes a 30//30 Holy Hour. The goal is to dedicate 30 minutes of physical activity and 30 minutes of prayer for our team members.

3. Strive for the "highest goals."

Whether its a local 5K or the Boston Marathon, FRC athletes commit themselves fully to the task. Our worth as runners is not defined by race times no more than our worth as people is defined by bottom lines. Our dignity comes from our baptismal identity and so, to that end, we seek to dedicate all we do "to the heights" - that is, to the best of our ability and for the Lord.

The Prayer for the Courage to Be Great

Heavenly Father,

Give me the courage to strive for the highest goals,

to flee every temptation to be mediocre.

Enable me to aspire to greatness, as Pier Giorgio did,

and to open my heart with joy to Your call to holiness.

Free me from the fear of failure.

I want to be, Lord, firmly and forever united to You.

Grant me the graces I ask You through Pier Giorgio's intercession [list your intentions here]

by the merits of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Amen
